Go skiing or snowboarding in Austria! We organize a true ski safari and we will visit famous ski areas such as Mayrhofen, the Hintertux Glacier, Kaltenbach and the Zillertal Arena.

From 9 to 16 march 2024 you will ski or snowboard down the slopes and enjoy all the beauties that the Austria has to offer in the winter. Amazing snow, nice slopes and beautiful nature.

We will take you down the slopes and, if necessary, give you some tips about your snowboarding technique. Do you prefer skiing? You are also welcome to join us! We want to have as much fun as possible and enjoy the Alps.

In addition to winter sports, there is also room for some fun. Together we ll hit the après-ski for some drinks, a bit of dancing. We ll cook together and have lots of fun!

Extra options

• Ski/ snowboard classes with the local ski school. Obliged/ highly recommended if you are still learning to ski or snowboard.
• You can pay your own skipass at the local ski lift

We will stay in the ski house in Zell am Ziller. With 2-3 persons bedrooms, a nice living room, a fire place, and nice bath rooms it will be a great place to start our ski holiday.

We will really have our own place in this big house, in which we can cook, chill and relax after a great day snowboarding and skiing on the slopes of the Zillertal.

A couple of hundred meters further you will find the ski lift of the Zillertal Arena. The ski house is in the middle of the Zillertal and other famous ski area’s like Mayrhofen and Gerlos are only 10 minutes driving away. We can easily pass by all the great ski area’s!

We are going on a ski safari. We will go skiing in famous area’s like Mayrhofen, Kaltenbach, Zillertal Arena, Gerlos and Hintertux. In that way you don’t have to go the same area all the time and you can really enjoy yourself on your snowboard or ski’s.

Big ski area.

The Zillertal Arena is the largest ski area of the Zillertal. You have a couple of beautiful slopes there, that are great for more advanced skiers and are also nice for snowboarders who just want to cruise and relax. It is suitable for advanced people and beginners.

Secure of snow.

With the Zillertal Arena you are pretty sure to get snow, because the area covers the lower placed Zillertal and the more higher placed area’s like Gerlos and Königsleiten

From Holland we can carpool and travel together to Zell am Ziller. We can help to arrange this, but the driving to Austria is not included in the price of the skisafari (500 euros). You can share the petrol with the other guests. You can also fly to Innsbruck and rent a car there or come to Zell am Ziller by train. The Zillertal is only one hour away by car from Innsbruck. So that’s easy!

The ski pass is not included in this offer, but you can buy it there at the local ski lift. For 290 euro’s you can buy a superski pass for all the ski area’s of the Zillertal. That’s including Mayrhofen, Hintertux, Zillertal Arena, Kaltenbach, Gerlos, etc. We can arrange over there together.

You don’t have to be an expert in snowboarding/ skiing to come on this trip. But if you are a true beginner, it would be good arrange some classes before or to arrange some classes in Austria.
