US Cellular`s LTE network relies primarily on two low-frequency LTE bands; 12 and 5.  Through the agreement with King Street Wireless, US Cellular has access to blocks A, B and C lower than 700 MHz in most of their operational markets. The bandwidth on LTE includes 5 or 10 -10 MHz on tape 12,700 MHz 5 – 5 MHz on tape 5,850 MHz 5 – 5 or 10 – 10 MHz on band 4 AWS 1 The company offers national 3G coverage through roaming agreements. Native coverage is mainly in the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, the Eastern and New England regions. Even if u.S. Cellular was headquartered in Chicago and did not provide services in the Greater Chicago Area until it acquired primeco communications territories between 2002 and 2003 after verizon Wireless was established.  UScellular was founded in 1983 as a subsidiary of Telephone and Data Systems Inc., which holds an 84% interest. All assistance plans are nationally with no additional roaming charges in the United States. These plans all include at no extra cost: incoming calls, nights and weekends from 7 p.m. and mobile-to-mobile calls between U.S. mobile subscribers.
At the beginning of the production project, customers had to complete only a 24-month agreement per line (“one-and-one-one-done contracts”). After the first contract, customers were no longer required to sign contracts and could continue to purchase new phones at promotional prices if they were allowed. However, as of the third quarter of 2013, the provision of the “one and done” contract has been removed from all plans and, as of January 8, 2015, customers will no longer be able to receive equipment grants for most assistance plans when they are eligible. Instead, they must purchase unprotracted devices at full cost or purchase devices with zero-rate plans at 24 months that are added to their monthly bills (see joint data plans below). Purchase plan customers collected points each month as part of the Product Rewards program and were also able to be earned by referral customers or participate in other advertising activities. These points could be redeemed for early upgrades, free accessories, phones, “forgiveness” arrogance and ringbacks and ringbacks.   On October 13, 2013, U.S. Cellular announced its acquisition of shared data plans. The plans are comparable to other providers of shared data options, but still all the same free calling features included. A new extension of shared data plans was introduced in the second quarter of 2014, where customers could purchase devices instead of an equipment subsidy under interest-free “temperate” agreements.
